Press: get online at MWC2009

By Ben Roome on Sun 15 February, 2009

You’re visiting Mobile World Congress. You’re on a deadline and need to file that story or upload photos and video. You want to get online with a secure, reliable broadband connection.

But everyone’s accessing networks using wireless connectivity. Mobile World Congress is a unique event with possibly the highest radio spectrum usage – data density – call it what you like – anywhere in the world at one time.

LTE is being demonstrated, WiMAX, WLAN, HSPA, GPRS – every technology you can imagine is competing for a finite amount of space in the airwaves.

So for registered press to get a nice fixed line away from the madding crowd, you may be in luck with Nokia Siemens Networks. You can’t hog a connection all day, but come along to our hospitality area in Hall 8, and you may be in luck.
