Once again, Nokia Networks has been recognized for its innovative products and solutions in the Asia Pacific region. We have won the awards for the categories of LTE Innovation of the Year and Customer Experience Management (CEM) Innovation of the Year in Telecom Asia’s 8th annual Readers’ Choice & Innovations Awards, in Singapore on December 2nd. The Readers’ Choice & Innovation Awards are held annually to recognize the innovations and contributions to the industry of the top telecom vendors operating in Asia Pacific. Telecom Asia narrowed down nominations in 21 categories to a shortlist of 90, representing 51 companies, before voting was open to our online subscriber base of service providers in early October 2015.
The LTE Innovation of the Year award was jointly accepted by Nokia Networks and our customer, Mock Pak Lum, CTO of StarHub at the ceremony for Nokia’s LTE-based Network-in-a-Box architecture, a subset of our Liquid Applications solution. This mobile edge computing solution was trialed on StarHub’s 4G network last year. Nokia’s Network-In-a-Box is an innovative solution that also supports Public Safety use cases, enabling quicker responses and application enhanced services, which are essential elements as we progress in the world of mobile connectivity.
The CEM Innovation of the Year Award was received for our CEM on Demand, which clearly stands out in the industry as a complete end-to-end umbrella solution providing insights from networks today.
