The booth of Nokia Siemens Networks is located at Hall 8. Hall 8 is designated for large stands, in the middle there is the so called “court yard”, a meeting place for tours, groups, journalists and visitors who want to meet and socialize. Since Nokia Siemens Networks is organizing guided tours, customers can receive a full picture of the services and solutions. These tours are done with groups of usually 3 – 8 guests. The tours cover the exhibition site as same as the show truck. On monday over 70 booked tours were executed, tuesday as the most busiest day so far had 90 tours. The media officers did over 60 confirmed interviews. Hot topic so far: LTE as the future platform of mobile communication.
The booth has two floors, the topics on the ground floors are looking at the themes from the point of view of customer experience. It has three sections: applications reaching from mobile advertising, mobile and IP TV to integrated messaging. The second section is managing customer experience. Application of cource the first thing the customer experiences. But for a real good experience, operators need to manage security, quality, service delivery, charging and customer care. Finally, the third section would be the broadband experience, shown with the example of mobile WiMAX. The upper floor is all about efficiency. Starting with radio and backhauling efficiency, showing the new high performance, the new high power radio head and to cope with all the high bandwidth efficient backhaul solutions within all ethernet demo. To cope with even higher traffic requirements I-HSPA with its flat network architecture brings in another level of efficiency. Further topic are smart connectivity, Femto Home Access solution, services and OSS aspects.
