We’re back, after 3 years, at CommunicAsia in Singapore, with our innovative showcase themed Liquid Telco: Extreme Flexibility for Success, helping our customers in the Asia Pacific region drive business agility to succeed in the highly fluid market environment.
At CommunicAsia 2011, visitors to our booth had the opportunity to meet numerous Nokia Siemens Networks experts from around the world and explore our solutions showcase and success stories.
Some highlights of launches and demonstrations at our showcase:
Liquid Radio: Offering more liquid capacity, we expanded our Liquid Radio architecture and our Flexi Multiradio Base Station family with a new, high power radio module. The new RF module provides 40% performance improvement at the edge of cells for operators to efficiently enhance their network. At the same time, carriers can be distributed across a 60 MHz frequency band range, significantly reducing the hardware units a site may need.
Customer Experience Management (CEM 2.0): Delegates were excited by the launch of CEM 2.0 for bringing together pre-integrated software that interprets and simplifies the millions of data points extracted from a telecoms network and operators’ IT systems. Delegates saw how real-time aggregation and correlation of subscriber, service, network and device data can proactively drive real-time actions to improve customer experience and business results.
LTE: we demonstrated LTE-Advanced live carrier aggregation which allows carriers to utilize multiband frequency more efficiently on a commercial platform. We have also achieved a downlink throughput of over 60Mbps with TD-LTE. With a proven track record of 37 LTE commercial contracts till date, we offer the best performance in live networks!
HSPA+: we’re proud of demonstrating an HSPA+ data call using the standardized MIMO + 64QAM with 6 carriers on the same commercial Flexi Multiradio Base Station and Multicontroller platform.. As an industry first, we had achieved the peak data rate of 220 megabits per second (Mbps) with an average of 200 Mbps.
In addition to our showcase, Markku Lepisto, our Head of Architect was also invited to present at the Conference, featuring a topic on “Living Clouds – Opportunities for Telcos to Do it Right”.
