“This year’s COMET awards submissions illustrated the height of technical innovation. The submissions by Nokia Siemens Networks depicted how the industry is moving forward together to address real-world issues and improve the end-customer experience. As the winner of the Editors’ Choice award and runner-up in multiple other categories, we felt quite strongly that they exemplified innovation as an organization,” reports Scott St. John, Executive Editor of Pipeline Magazine.
It was with great pleasure that I had an opportunity to represent Nokia Siemens Networks at the Pipeline Innovation Awards Gala Monday evening. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Les Salons de La Rotonde Lenôtre on the French Riviera and in conjunction with this year’s TM Forum’s Management World in Nice, France.
Three of our solutions – Liquid Applications, IMS and LTE Transport Security – were shortlisted as finalists. Each represents an answer to help solve the real-world problems that our mobile operator customers face, and to provide the advanced technology that will give them a leading edge in a very competitive market. It was an honor to be recognized with the Editor’s Choice award, which signifies the vendor that best embodies innovation in 2013.
Here at Nokia Siemens Networks, ingenuity and ‘changing the game’ through innovation is part of our culture, so it was exciting to interact with other innovators being recognized as part of the awards program. And, it was certainly a high-caliber group. I had the opportunity to get first-hand insight into many technical innovations that are changing our industry and world.
