Nokia Siemens Networks has been ranked No.1 in China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network performance and professional services evaluation (PE) for all vendors. The operator has been running the PE since the beginning of 2010 and conducts the evaluation each quarter. Nokia Siemens Networks’ TD-SCDMA technology came in first place in 7 of 13 PE quarters, with the last 3 of these being consecutive quarters.
In the first quarter of 2013, China Mobile gave Nokia Siemens Networks the highest possible score in the categories for software upgrade success rate, problem solving time, service recovery time, fault average handling time, consulting feedback time, equipment repair time, technology service satisfaction, engineering service satifaction and training satisfaction rate.
This outstanding result is based on Nokia Siemens Networks’ long-term commitment to TD technologies. The company is the only foreign vendor in China which has invested more than 15 years in the development and standardization of TD-SCDMA technology.
“Together with China Mobile, Nokia Siemens Networks has spent endless efforts and invested heavily in the development of TD technologies. We have been proactively responding to China Mobile’s requirement and needs for almost two decades,” said Xue Rui, head of Delivery in Greater China region at Nokia Siemens Networks. “Our key focus areas have been to secure the network quality and stimulate new business development with TD delivery tools and platforms that facilitate network coordination and provide superior Quality of Experience (QoE) for TD-SCDMA users. This knowledge and experience prepares us well for the large volume of upcoming TD-LTE network deployments.”
Nokia Siemens Networks has again clearly demonstrated that it has the best capabilities in the TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE globalization and commercialization, and it will continue to proudly support China Mobile with its efforts.
