NSN wins two SAP Quality Awards in 2011 – “Gold” in Germany and “Bronze” in the EMEA region for the Category: Medium to Large Implementation with the Common Sales Platform implementation.
Each year, the SAP Quality Awards celebrates its customers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) for achieving excellence in planning and executing of their SAP projects and programs that deliver significant benefits to their organizations.
In the 2011 awards a senior judging panel, consisting of representatives of SAP and external partners, concluded that the Nokia Siemens Networks rollout of a Common Sales Platform scored the highest in Germany and won us third place for the EMEA region.
Nokia Siemens Networks was judged against adherence to SAP’s ten quality principles, demonstrating time to value and a focus on quality, including:
• Effective management of software implementations marked by complex technical and business process requirements
• Excelling in project execution and delivering significant benefits to the organization
• Fast and efficient implementation meeting demands for fast time to value
The NSN Common Sales Platform program is a company-wide business change initiative driving the simplification of sales processes and consolidation multiple of tool into one integrated platform (hereby SAP).
Since 2010, the program has successfully deployed releases globally, positively changing the way of working for over 5,000 internal users. For the first time in the company history, a globally harmonized offer and configuration process from quote-to-order has been established contributing to our efficiency, quality and speed. The platform enables users to create and update configurations, offers and orders faster and with better quality that is already resulting in higher customer satisfaction.
